About CAS
The Centre for Administrative Service (CAS) is the professional school for the civil service of the Polity.
It selects, trains, certifies, and advances public administrators across four schools. The institution reports through the civil-service chain and operates under the authority of the Chief Qualifications Officer.
The CAS is the only public-service training institution that delivers administrative training in the Anishinaabe language. This is not a translation service bolted onto an English-language curriculum; it is a curriculum built in Anishinaabe from the foundational literacy level through to senior executive fluency, supported by an institutional corpus of administrative terminology that is actively developed and maintained by the School of Languages & Cultures. Established 2026.
The institution draws on the models of the Institut National du Service Public (France), the École Nationale d'Administration Publique (Québec), the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (Japan). The visual and editorial register follows the discipline of the UK Government Design System.
