Public-Private Partnership Negotiation
External Development Wing · EDW-PPP
Adapted from CAS PM Case 3 (Northern Road) for infrastructure developers and government contractors. A case-based course covering the negotiation of public-private partnerships from both sides of the table.
Public-Private Partnership Negotiation adapts the CAS case-method instruction for private-sector audiences. The course is built around a realistic scenario — a northern road infrastructure project — and a bundle of supporting documents including project charters, environmental impact assessments, community position papers, legal opinions, and budget breakdowns.
Learners work through the case file, analyze stakeholder positions, and produce a negotiation strategy. The course covers the legal framework, consultation obligations, risk allocation, and the political dynamics that determine whether a PPP succeeds or fails.
